  History & Architecture

Settled in 1799 by David Hudson on land known as the Connecticut Western Reserve, Hudson is a jewel in the National Register of Historic Places, an Underground Railroad stop, and an America In Bloom award-winning city. It’s loaded with architectural interest, boasting Federal, Greek Revival, Victorian, New England and Colonial styles built on a traditional “village green” plan.
